For the lunch menu at a very reasonable price RM38 nett, you have TWO choices of APPETIZER which is ASPARAGUS SOUP or CAESAR SALAD. I have to say my favorite is the Asparagus Soup, it just tasted so fresh & light. The Caesar Salad is just as fresh and crunchy but if you prefer something different and warm to the tummy - I'd recommend having the Asparagus Soup.
As for the MAIN COURSE - THREE CHOICES of scrumptious meal which are GRILLED MINUTE STEAK with BLACK PEPPER SAUCE or CHICKEN CACCLATORE or LINGUNE ZUCCHINI & PRAWN. Good variety here is given, it's either a light thin slice of beef steak, chicken breast with mushroom & tomato sauce or pasta with zucchini & prawn.
To complete the course, you will be served with DESSERT - a super large mug of STRAWBERRY PANNACOTTA. I'm quite surprised by the portion as usually, having this large sized of dessert alone would qualify as lunch itself haha. Yes, the pannacotta is really light & fluffy and not too sweet. Just how I love my desserts ♥
As for the DINNER MENU which is priced at RM78 NETT:
TWO CHOICES of APPETIZER is MUSHROOM SOUP and SALMON ROLL with ROCKET SALAD. Mushroom soup is definitely a heartier & heavier version for an appetizer. For a more clean fresh palate, I'd recommend going for the Salmon Roll. Plus they have tiny little caviar dish ;)
As for MAIN COURSE, THREE CHOICES which are SIRLOIN STEAK MUSHROOM SAUCE, SPAGHETTI ARAGOSTA or GRILLED SEABASS. Spaghetti Aragosta is a chicken tomato based pasta, large portion and yummy. If you are a beef kinda gal/guy, definitely go for the heavy Sirloin Steak - do state your preferences whether you want it medium or rare. Kindly note that the steak used here is Australian grass fed beef, only the best! As for the Grilled Seabass, it has somewhat a fresh muddy taste to it so if you are not familiar nor acquainted with fishes it's better to steer clear.
And the dessert is the same as lunch menu which is Strawberry Pannacotta, a very good closing for a lovely dinner & lunch. Personally I think the prices given is really good and it opens up your chances to try on fine dining at reasonable price. Although drinks are not included but I would prefer it this way so that customers have the freedom to choose whatever choice of drinks they want according to their taste. Thanks to Chef Ariff for accommodating us 2 nights ago and for serving yummy food :)
"The dish that made us famous is our Spaghetti Ala Opus', mixed seafood in fresh tomato sauce. An all time favorite at Opus is our famous 'Roasted Cod with choice of White Wine Sauce or Lemon Caper Sauce'. Other dishes that are must try at Opus is our 'Baked Portobello Mushrooms', 'Squid in Risotto', 'Arancini' and 'Osso Bucco'', - says Chef Ariff.
Looks like we have to come back to taste all those must-try!
