Eversince I know the meaning of wearing denim for everyday casual wear when I was a kid, LEVI's is the first brand that would pop on my mind as the leading and most memorable denim line ever created. After decades that thought has not changed since. I am in awe on how Levi's has managed to become a staple product in every single men & women's wardrobe all over the world, my first Levi's that I bought with my own money during my teen years was a pair of skinnies and it's still as good now as it was the first time I bought it, albeit getting that worn out look after a few (hundred) washes ;)

My first Levi's is probably one of the most worn jeans, to class to dates and to casual family hour. It has seen me grow, literally because now I can not fit into it anymore! The Levi’s® brand designers studied body scans of more than 60,000 women to develop custom fits based on the difference between the measurement of a woman’s hip and seat–the greater the difference, the more curvy the body–

Slight Curve – Gracefully Straight

Slight Curve is designed to define a woman’s waist while accentuating her curves. If jeans fit in the hips and thighs but are too tight in the waist, a woman should try the Slight Curve.

Demi Curve – Elegantly Hourglass

Demi Curve is designed to flatter a woman’s waist while smoothing her shape. If jeans usually fit in the waist but don’t flatter the figure, a woman should try the Demi Curve.

Bold Curve – Beautifully Curvy

Bold Curve is designed to hug the waist without gapping or pulling. If jeans fit in the hips and thighs but gap in the back, a woman should try the Bold Curve.

I went to get measured at a Levi's store last year and found out that I'm actually Demi Curve, at a glance I thought I was actually Slight Curve but hey turns out I have more curve after all.

Personally I think it’s a great idea that Levi’s created the Curve ID range instead of just focusing on sizes to determined a woman’s body. As everyone knows a woman’s body has many shapes, and being curvy does not mean you are fat. It’s a celebration of true body shapes & inner confidence, I’m happy that Levi’s has recognized that and created the Curve ID campaign & designs.

LEVI'S® TAPER 511, 520, 508 & 562 FOR MEN

The key trend for men this season is the tapered look, for a great flattering fit that sits just below the waist, slouchy on the top with a slim tailored leg.

Keeping that focus on fit, the Fall 2012 Levi's® Taper Collection comprises four taper fits this season: 511 Slim Taper, 520 Extreme Taper, 508 Regular Taper & 562 Loose Taper. The new refined look for the Levi's® guy this fall is all about inspired details and clothes that are tailored to perfection. With these four Taper fits, the Levi's® brand will capture a range of men looking for the fresh, effortless cool that comes with this innovative style.

The Fall/Winter 2012 Levi's® Taper Collection includes:

511 Slim Taper

The jean offers a slim fit through the thighs and legs waist with a slight leg opening. It is available in basic black, polished gray and dark blue in addition to the clean, worn wash. Most of the 511 fits are made with cotton and spandex blend for added comfort.

520 Extreme Taper

The waist of this jean is oversized and meant to be worn low and slouchy on the hips to sit below the waist. More relaxed at the seat, the leg tapers to a super skinny opening.

508 Regular Taper

Hanging on the hip, this jean features a slim fit from waist to thigh and a tapered, skinny leg. Without being too slouchy at the top or too skinny at the leg opening, our new 508TM Regular Taper is defined by a modern slim tapered fit.

562 Loose Taper

Featuring a looser and higher rise, this pant sports a low-hanging fit on the hips with a slightly tapered leg.

The men's tapered jeans are retailed between RM189 to RM399 in all Levi's ® Stores nationwide.
